Join Original Designs Expert Designer & Horticulturist, Kathleen Nestell, as she guides you with step-by-step instructions on how to make a Kokedama. Kokedama translates to “moss ball” and is a form of Japanese garden art. Their root systems are wrapped in moss and bound with string, turning them into a sculpture for display. They make a great personalized gift or an interesting way to show off your favorite specimen. Workshop fee is $100 per person, includes materials to make one (1) – 9” – 10” Bromeliad Kokedama and one (1) 5” – 6” fern Kokedama, moss, string, soil and step-by-step instructions. Unfortunately, due to materials costs, cancellations after January 8th cannot be refunded. Please bring gloves if desired. Space is limited.
